Respected Journalist Amy Goodman Faces Arrest Warrant For Covering Pipeline Protest

The US government took a sharp turn down Orwell Avenue after issuing an arrest warrant for renowned journalist of Democracy Now! Amy Goodwin. Democracy Now traveled to North Dakota to cover protests against a massive pipeline project threatening Native American lands. The charges arrive as activists are detained, and concerns of political suppression germinate.

According to Democracy Now!, Goodwin is charged with misdemeanor criminal trespassing. Her team traveled to North Dakota to cover the pipeline protests spearheaded by a coalition of Native American tribes. The charges come after Goodwin’s team filmed Dakota Access security guards unleash dogs on peaceful protesters.

As Nations Reject Monsanto Sketchy GMOs, Focus Shifts To Once Lucrative Vietnam

Despite Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO’s) being touted as saviors, nations worldwide restrict or outright ban their use. That gouges their champion corporation–Monsanto– with deep profit wounds. That paradigm forces the company to get creative, and test all manner of boundaries. As agra-advancement demand grows, with GMO’s failing to catch on, Monsanto turns to countries like Vietnam to welcome its product.

The agra-giant once found success in Vietnam during 20th century struggles against colonialism. During the Vietnam War, the Vietnamese countryside drowned in massive amounts of the toxin known as Agent Orange across lush jungles. It acted as a kind of augmented herbicide, officially used to clear dense bush for troops. It was also useful for destroying food supplies, and tainting drinking water. A Vietnamese man interviewed for the 1975 documentary Hearts And Minds, who built coffins of a living, claimed many countryside children died due to the poison.

Terraforming And Geoengineering: A Climate Change Silver Bullet, Or Dormant Blowback?

Adaptive technologies have begun creeping into center stage recently in the global climate conversation. Some of those technologies are radical, however, and pose nagging questions. For instance, researchers now considering using geoengineering and terraforming to reverse CO2 emissions now explore the line between earth guardians and god players.

The UN-affiliated Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change recently announced it’s condonment of terraforming. Simply put, humanity’s collective greenhouse emissions must staggeringly decline immediately. If this doesn’t happen, TVN reports, then warming may rack worldwide societies with unmanageable disasters.

Louisiana’s Floods: Climate Change Crying To The US

Louisiana’s shores are once again swelling to devour homes and businesses, streets and roads. Record flooding interrupted the lives of thousands, killing at least 13 in the process. As rescue operations continue, onlookers realize that climate change can’t be closeted anymore. Will this most recent lash from nature shake Americans into responding to the crisis? Or is nothing to be learned?

Over two feet of rainfall drowned Louisiana last week, emptying over just three days. The “historic flooding” was spawned after a low pressure system combined with record amounts of atmospheric water vapor, Washington Post reports. The disaster has displaced untold thousands, and killed around a dozen people. Those figures are expected to rise.

DNC Hacker Guccifer 2.0 Leaks Show Alcohol Lobby Pushed Against Cannabis

The cryptic hacker Guccifer 2.0 continues to pour forth a diverse stream of ever evolving democratic party leaks. After revealing the party’s favoring of Hillary Clinton, emails now disclose messages from the alcohol lobby. Give you one guess what about–opposition to cannabis reform.

Mary Jane’s medical and recreational success in Colorado has opened up the airwaves to all sorts of debate. Even those pushing to peel the plant’s schedule 1 status away were curious if it could integrate into society. Driving laws came into immediate question, and how to detect and handle stoned drivers.

Hacker Guccifer 2.0’s New Leaks Reveal An Anti-Sanders DNC, And More

Hacktivist Guccifer 2.0 strikes again, sending a steaming hot cache of DNC documents to WikiLeaks. While some documents indicate internal skepticism of the Iran agreements, others are more jarring. Leaks outline how DNC officials literally conspired against Senator Bernie Sanders’ run for president. These new leaks offer a panoramic view of the party’s augmentation of Clinton’s campaign, while exploiting the weakness of others.

At least some of the material to pertaining to the Iran agreements were sent to The Hill. The deal was mentioned in notes sent between DNC political consultancy partners discussing tactics. Certain politicians were described as “wobbly democrats” who wanted to “scratch this thing.” Other notes on immigration called the current congress “the most anti-immigration” by far.

FBI Issues Gag-Order To Agents Following Clinton Email Decision

The FBI’s decision to not indict Hillary Clinton has been largely overshadowed by ongoing police killings and reputed retaliation. If it were getting appropriate media attention, then perhaps more of us would’ve heard of an unusual feature of the Clinton case. FBI investigators were ordered to sign irregular non-disclosure agreements forcing them into silence, unless called to testify. The latter, of course, isn’t happening, much to public and FBI suspicion alike.

Anonymous FBI officials who commented on the agreements felt they resulted from an “inside deal.” “This is very, very unusual”, said one unnamed official, claiming to never have signed or distributed one before. Some even felt the so-called “deal” may have had something to do with Loretta Lynch’s controversial meeting with Bill Clinton. No, this isn’t the talk of conspiracy theorists. According to Free Thought Project, a massive delay in a batch of Clinton emails came just days following the meeting. The specific form agents signed, New York Post reports, is dubbed a “Case Briefing Acknowledgement”.

Assad Says US Not Serious In ISIS Fight

Damascus, Syria (TFC) – Syrian president Bashar al-Assad has come forward with skepticism over America’s war on the Islamic State. Assad, who’s accepted aid from Russia to quell Syrian jihadist activities, feels the US isn’t serious in its fight. Assad’s speak volumes,…

Local And Federal Police Visit Activist Homes Asking Questions Ahead Of Ohio RNC

Isn’t it wonderful when police knock on your door asking what your activism plans for the Republican National Convention are? That’s exactly what’s happening in Cleveland, where officers are going door-to-door probing activists and organizers. Such revelations beg questions on the use of police for surveillance of legal political activities especially in 2016’s election.

With Cleveland Ohio expecting an estimated 50,000 visitors for the Republican National Convention (RNC), preparations surely are needed. Many community organizers, however, shuttered after sleeping bags and soapboxes were banned at 2016’s RNC. Interestingly, Intercept reports, officials didn’t ban firearms, despite a recent attempt on Donald Trump’s life. Trump rallies, in particular, are known for their volatile nature, and acts of exclusion and violence are regular. RNC’s bans don’t account for these elements of the convention’s population.

Clinton Email Hack Show’s Campaign Monitored Unfriendly Or Critical Journalists

Hackers who allegedly infiltrated the DNC’s servers continue to raise the bar for info-jacking, and leaking. They’ve now moved to discredit repeated Clinton campaign denials that they too were had. A steaming hot cache of campaign documents, leaked to outlets, unveil the organization’s disturbing surveillance of journalists. The near Orwellian findings add to Clinton’s pattern of subversion and control of press and information freedom.

These most recent leaks were sent to the Smoking Gun, an outlet specializing in document acquisition. According to Smoking Gun, infiltrators targeted the email’s of staffers working in communications, campaign finance, and policy advisement.

Hacker “Guccifer 2.0” Complicates The Offical Narrative Of The DNC Hack

Hillary Clinton

Recently, hackers breached the Democratic National Committee’s (DNC) servers, making off with political opposition files. Although initial reports outed a collective of Russian hackers, a lone infiltrator now claims full responsibility. What the files reveal, as well as the drama surrounding their identities, offers an unusual view of modern digital espionage.

It began with the infiltration of the DNC’s servers by adept virtual spies, and the confidential files they downloaded. Hackers, noticed a month ago, first accessed DNC data for over a year. Their breach of communications was described as “unimpeded” by New York Times, requiring outside intervention. Cyber-security firm CrowdStrike, founded in 2011, was then recruited to expel and identify the hackers.

Questions Still Linger Over Deaths Of Flint Water Investigators Within Three Days Of Each Other

It’s been nearly a month since two Flint Water Crisis investigators were found dead within day’s of one another. Although a vague explanation surfaced for one of the deceased, a pandora’s box of questions remains unsatisfied. In lieu of official answers, the familiar ring of conspiracy chatter has encroached to fill the void. What are we to make of all this, and will closure come with officials facing charges?

First came Flint Water Treatment Plant foreman Matthew Mcfarland, found dead at this home. According to the Amsterdam Times, Mcfarland was found in his home, after being interviewed for the investigation. Initially, authorities suspected foul play though couldn’t confirm how he died.

Recently, investigators were able to determine drug intoxication, coupled with a heart condition, as the cause of death. According to MLive, the 43 year old died after high levels of a drug mixture, and remains filed as “indeterminate”, remaining an ongoing investigation.

God’s-Eye View: Mainstream Acedimia Mobilizes Against 15 Year Old Correlating Mayan City Find With Stars

One day, it’s reported that a 15 year old Canadian boy discovered a Mayan city using a star map. The next, sources come out attempting to “debunk” the teen’s discovery, or at least its connection with the heavens. Why though, was the academic status quo so quick to mobilize against this story, and that celestial detail?

Countless examples of anonymous monuments and unclaimed megaliths worldwide continue to beckon humanity to a prior age. Thousands have marveled over how such structures were made and for what purpose. Few suggestions seem more taboo, however, than to suggest any correlation between ancient man and the stars. That’s exactly what 15 year old William Gadoury, of Saint Jeen De Matha, did upon putting an idea to the test.
