Tradecraft: Counter-Intelligence Background Checks

(TFC) – Counter-intelligence is critical in many fields. Proper counter-intelligence can stop industrial espionage, it keeps activists safe, it can secure religious organizations, and it is used by governments every day. One of the most important pieces to any counter-intelligence…

Petition on White House website: Hang Congress

(TFC) – A petition circulating on Facebook is asking the White House to hang the entirety of the United States Congress. The petition cites the continuation of the Federal Reserve as its reason. The full text of the petition reads: “Congress…

8 Things You Need to Know About The Wall

(TFC) – It’s expected to happen today: The President of the United States will order the construction of a 2000-mile long wall stretching across the nation’s southern border. While exact specifications of the wall are unknown, what is known is the…

12 Stories you missed while following the ‘hack’ that never was

The country has its sights firmly placed on the spectacle occurring over the hack/leak of documents that may or may not have influenced the election. It’s irrelevant. The people of the United States cannot grant the Central Intelligence Agency (or any intelligence agency) the power to cast doubt on the results of elections via unconfirmed, unsourced, and politically biased findings. At the end of the day, the precedent set by allowing a secret agency to veto election results is the death of democracy.

So what did you miss while this was occupying the national narrative? Lots. Troops are deploying to Afghanistan, the Boko Haram is back in the headlines, a new pipeline fight, and much more.

Tradecraft: Prepacked Bug Out bags

A recent trend in emergency preparedness has led to dozens of companies offering prepacked bug out bags. It’s so prevalent, in fact, The Fifth Column has been asked why we don’t have our own line.

They’re easy enough to produce. There are even companies that allow other companies to purchase their bags and rebrand them as their own.The reason we don’t have our own line is simple: retail bug out bags are a farce. You have to build your pack to match your needs and skill set. There’s a slight exception to this rule. There is a company that sells a variety of starter packs. They don’t market them as bug out bags, they don’t tell you it’s everything you need to survive the end of the world, they aren’t even an equipment company. They’re a food company.

The Evidence of Soros Funded Protesters

George Soros. The name sends chills up many peoples’ spines. He’s a billionaire power broker on the international scene implicated in dirty dealings the world over. He’s got a crazy backstory stretching back to Nazi-occupied Hungary. He’s about the closest the world has ever come to a Bond villain.

Because of the activities he has been involved in, he’s become a boogeyman. He’s a scary story politicos tell their children at night. “If you don’t support our cause, George Soros will reign supreme.”

The latest dust-up involving Soros revolves around his alleged payments to Anti-Trump protesters. It’s quite a claim. Evidence of this could actually land Soros in criminal court. How could we prove this allegation? We’d need evidence of money flowing from Soros to Open Societies to a local organization and then to protesters. A tall order, but not impossible.

Identifying those responsible for the ‘Don’t vote Trump’ attack

A 32-second viral video shows a 50-year-old man being beaten and robbed by two unidentified assailants. The nation was shocked by the video. Partisan political violence. It’s something relatively unheard of in the United States, or is it?

Through analysis TFC has uncovered who is responsible for the attacks, and why we should expect more attacks of a similar nature. In fact, some have guaranteed at least 2 million more similar attacks in the next year.

How to turn the election of Donald Trump into a win for freedom

President-elect Trump is a populist candidate with severe fascist undertones. So how can Americans concerned with liberty and freedom turn his election into a positive thing? How can we use a candidate whose campaign promises included shredding the Bill of Rights? We selectively support him.

The Republican party will view the Trump win as a mandate due to the electoral votes involved and Trump’s ability to power through projected Clinton wins. So, is it possible to force the Republican establishment to adopt any of Trump’s policies based on this perceived mandate?

Trump causes split in the military over sexual assault statements

About a month ago, 88 high-ranking retired military officers signed a letter endorsing Donald Trump for President. Now a collection of high-ranking retired military officers have released a letter condemning Mr. Trump for his antics and begging the American people to keep him out of the Commander in Chief’s office.

The officers condemning Trump have expressed a very real concern: that his attitude towards women will create a hostile command climate. The military has spent decades attempting to stem sexual harassment and sexual assault within its ranks. The push back against this type of behavior began in earnest after the Tailhook scandal in 1991. During a symposium in Nevada, 83 women and 7 men were sexually assaulted by Navy and Marine officers. Incidentally, four of those who signed the endorsement of Trump were present at that symposium, though none were charged.

The facts you need about the ‘New Cold War’

It’s time to separate some fact and fiction. The current show playing out center-stage in the global political theater is, of course, the “new Cold War”. None of the developments are spectacular. None are truly pressing. The “new Cold War” isn’t even that new. The first articles filled under “new cold war” on The Fifth Column date to over a year and a half ago. There’s nothing emergent about the current situation. It’s the natural progression of events.

Most of what is flowing through the news cycles right now, is nothing short of propaganda. TFC is taking this opportunity to provide some context behind some of the situations and dispel some of the blatant propaganda.
