Republicans Attempt Keystone Veto Override and Fail

Washington, DC (TFC) – As predicted, Republican lawmakers have attempted to override the President’s veto of the Keystone pipeline. Also, as predicted, they failed.

The Fifth Column’s interview with a Congressman from Florida who bluntly said that the Republican party was bought and paid for by the Koch Brothers has turned out to be an extremely accurate portrayal of the situation.

The next step for the Republican Party is to attach the bill demanding a foreign corporation be given rights for land running through the heartland of the United States to a funding bill. This is an effort that might work because representatives rarely read the laws they are voting on.
