Music of the revolution

Washington, DC (TFC) – Every movement needs a soundtrack. Today’s very broad anti-governmental corruption movement certainly has one. From the Gaza strip to the streets of Ferguson, these artists use music to convey a message of resistance. Obviously there are the artists that have made it to the mainstream and that are carrying the message to the public. An Anonymous affiliated musician will be playing soon at Hard Rock. There are also those that stay hidden by fate or by design and remain the sole property of those that are active in the movement. The politically-charged lyrics are just a bit too extreme for the radio in most cases and are undoubtedly only meant for “advanced listeners.”
